Irwin Park Gazebo Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Pi Even: I went to check on it and found a container different than I placed. It was a flimsy, disposable container. Lid was off, contents on the ground. Water in the container. Log book soggy.

Read the first page of log book and the author on July 6, 2013 decided to replace my "small, crappy" container with a larger one.

Ironic that my small tupperware container could survive the elements and the replacement could not. And the small container could be hidden, while the large one was exposed and probably muggled.

Deciding to archive, rather than replace. Sent an email to the replacer to read geocaching 101.

Geocache Description:

Irwin Park is located at the intersection of Weed Street and Wahackme Road. The 36 acre park has newly opened jogging/walking trails for your enjoyment.

Since we were last at the park several months ago, flexi-pave trails have been put in the park. Today we saw several people walking dogs on the trails. And we also saw some bike riders using the trails.

Note that all dogs must be leashed.

There is a rustic looking gazebo just off a trail in the park.

If you haven't been to the park recently, come back and see the changes. And get a cache at the same time.

Bring your own pen or pencil.
