This cache was placed while walking in the park with our new puppy
“Bandit”, who has joined our family since the demise of
“Moose”, the namesake of two of my prior caches,
Moose’s Cache No. 1 and No. 2.

It is a short walk from the parking
area, and there is a stream crossing involved, which most times is
not challenging at all, and in summer may often be dry – but
after a really heavy rain may be un-crossable. Part of the
container was given to me a while ago by my frequent caching
partner Polaris1000, and I was glad to finally use it. Other than
that, I’m not saying anything more about it, but it should
not be a difficult find.
The walk follows a clearing from when an underground sewer pipeline
was installed a few years ago, and it has gradually given way again
to tall grasses and multiflora rose (a.k.a. sticker bushes). Much
of it is little more than a deer path. You are also likely to
encounter poison ivy and ticks.
This cache was placed with permission of the Park Manager, and
inspected by Ranger O’Connor. Please read and observe all
Park rules listed at the following website. Park is open dawn to
dusk.

When replacing container, please do not make it too hard to
retrieve with anything other than fingers. While cache is available
in winter, it may require a tool to help free and retrieve it if
icy conditions exist- please don't break it trying.
