Cache reemplazado 10-01-26 en el mismo lugar que el anterior. Ahora es un frasco de vidrio con tapa dorada (ubicado al final del sendero del Arroyo Casa de Piedra, saliendo desde el puente a unos 45 minutos de marcha, poco desnivel pero un tramo difícil). Tiene pulseras, monedas, stickers, etc.
A new cache is already replaced due to the bad condition of the previous one (found at the end of the trail that follows up "Casa de Piedra"). It is a glass jar with a golden lid. Some new items inside.
El camino es relativamente fácil para realizar con niños no muy pequeños con experiencia en caminatas (excepto por varios troncos caidos que dificultan la marcha y una sola parte con una pendiente muy pronunciada). Saliendo del puente sobre el Arroyo Casa de Piedra en la ruta de ripio que va a Colonia Suiza hay que caminar río arriba, con el arroyo todo el tiempo a la izquierda. Se llega al final del camino a un lugar donde el arroyo se encajona. Desde allí se asciende abruptamente por un pequeño sendero unos 10-15 metros hasta encontrar una roca llena de musgo en medio del bosque.
El 28 de enero de 2012 encontramos que no estaba más. Así que lo reemplazamos por un contenedor más chico (anaranjado) ...lleno de "bichos". Nuevamente se reportó desaparecido en abril de 2019 así que el nuevo tesoro (tapa anaranjada) contiene: una libretita de registro, una miniguía de aves, un encendedor, algunos adornos para el pelo, crayones y velas para el agua. y contiene nuevas cosas como pulseritas, monedas recordatorio de Francia, un vasito para chots, stickers, etc.
Debido a que la tapa de plástica estaba deteriorada fue reemplazado el 10 de enero de 2026
No se recomienda en invierno (cuando el nivel del arroyo sube) ni con bicicleta.
The trail is relatively easy for usual hikers (beware for some fallen trees and only one steep elevation change) and very beautiful. Departing from the bridge over the "Arroyo Casa de Piedra" on the road to Colonia Suiza keep the river on your left all the time.
You have to reach the end of the trail where the creek is sorrounded by very tall rock walls. From there you have to ascend right and follow a barely visible steep trail up (no more than 40 ft.) and find a big rock in the middle of the forest. Behind the rock is the cache: the original was a big can containing a small lognotebook, a couple of Starwars toys (Dark Vader and C3PO), playcards, a dinosaur rule, a little book, a toy car, a pencil, and the "Travel Bug" TBJ9ZP, a Neopet Red Cackique that just want to travel around the world. These initial items had changed in the last years and the container was reported missing in January 2012.
It was again replaced in May 2019 and te new orange cup container has a small bird watching guide and many other little things. It was replaced again in January 2026
