Well, it's probably not 'cause the spelling's different, but think Feb 1st. 1981.

OK! I know! It’s another bloody micro in the bush! Relax! It's really not as traumatic as it sounds. If it will make you feel any better, think of it as “Small”. That might help. (It’s probably somewhere in between anyway.)
I first came across this great little informal picnic and camping spot, in the middle of the forest, a few years ago, while walking from Ballarat to Creswick along The Great Dividing Trail. It’s another one of those mysterious little places, the history of which has, thus far, eluded me but it was obviously to do with the pursuit of riches. For the sharp-eyed, there are still a few relics of everyday life on the goldfields around the place.
The cache can be approached in any of three ways:
1. You can drive reasonably close to GZ in a 4x4. A conventional vehicle can get you just as far with care, depending on conditions and how much you are prepared to push it. If concerned drive as close as you can, then park in any of the gaps along side the track and walk. It’s really not that much further. (There is an awkward little rutted spot close to the end of the track which could get entertaining, especially in the wet. Take it easy there. The rest of the track in is quite passable.)
2. Alternatively, one can pick up the walking track where it crosses the road a little north of the turn-off and follow it in a southerly direction. It passes within 50 metres or the cache.
3. The cache is reachable by walking in through the bush from the nearest point on the road but, depending on the line you take, there is a steep, awkward gully that may need to be crossed on the way in.
The last 2 approaches miss the location from which the cache gets its name. This can be rectified by a short stroll along the walking track, southwards from GZ.
The place is usually deserted although walkers do occasionally pass within sight of the cache, so I guess surprises are possible but you would have to be unlucky.
The container is a small black cylinder, containing a log sheet but no writing implement so please bring your own pen. There is no room for swaps. It also contains instructions for a FTF prize, (nominally related to the location), which is hidden separately nearby.
Despite the tree cover, reception seems to be quite good.
I have not added a hint at this stage, as despite its small size, I don’t expect searchers to have too many problems.
Note:
When replacing the cache, please orientate according to instructions written thereon.
