Geocache Description:

Handicap friendly terrain at approximately 6300 feet elevation

Cache container is on the small side, but does contain a log and writing instrument. It could also hold some very small trade items.
Permission was granted by Craig's Park and Rec director to place this cache here.
This cache is located in Craig's main city park. Every year they hold a wood carving competition here called "Whittle Da' Wood". Over the years some amazing carvings have accumulated. The competition started when the parks native cottonwood trees started dieing off, so instead of just removing the trees they decided to invite chainsaw carvers from around the country to turn them into art. It became so popular that they have since had to import dead trees from other locations.
Be sure to schedule in some time to walk around and look over these awesome works of art. Lots of other outdoor activities can be enjoyed here too.
Please note that the cache is NOT located on any carving.
