To help us celebrate our The Third Time’s a Charm Event, we have procured a genuine leprechaun straight from the Emerald Isle! He has taken up residence here at Lake D’Arbonne State Park, where he immediately went to work in the leprechauns’ traditional occupation of making shoes for all the native fairy folk, who have welcomed him into the community—after all, pine cones and briars can be rough on bare feet!
As you may know, these elusive cobblers are as solitary and mischievous as they are industrious. They are also miserly—they horde away most of their wealth, parting with only enough of their hard-earned money to keep them in pipe tobacco and the occasional pint of Guinness or nip of whiskey. Their greed is matched only by their independence. Legend has it that if a human captures a leprechaun, he will divulge the location of his hidden treasure in exchange for his freedom.
We have received reports that our leprechaun has recently been sighted at the above coordinates—if you hurry, you may catch him there. If captured, he will reveal the location of his treasure, which is a cache of good-luck tokens, one for each person who finds it.
Congratulations to the rollingcacher duo, who were FTF on April 4, 2009!
