This is our first themed cache. It is designed to be a sports card swap point. Inside you will find seperate baggies for basketball, football and baseball trading cards. The container is a medium lock N' lock with a log and pencil and has room for small tradeables too. Terrain is mostly level and should be suitable for small children, some bushwacking is necessary.
This, our 5th cache, is located at the Town of Westville recreation area which is also home to the Franklin County firemen's training area (FRACO). The park is clearly marked off of State Rt. 37 in Westville and has a large parking area at the bottom of the hill. There is a basketball court, ball field, kid's playground and tons of room for your dogs to run!!
In the warmer months this area can be very busy, even in the evening hours as the firemen train. So your stealth skills will definetely be tested here in the Summer.
The Salmon river runs through the back of the area and fishermen are welcome, just follow the posted regulations. The park is closed in the Winter months and therefore is not always plowed, so please be wary.
*FTF award goes to Rygel - congrats on your first!!*
