Annetut koordinaatit vievät kevyenliikenteen väylien risteykseen. Risteyksessä on viitat kolmeen kohteeseen etäisyyksineen. Nimetään kohteet niiden nimien alkukirjainten mukaisesti L, M ja V . Suorita seuraavat laskutoimitukset käyttäen kohteiden etäisyyksien numeroarvoja.

N = L*L*L/M+2*(L+V)
E = L*(-M)

Kätkön koordinaatit saadaan laskemalla yhteen tulokset ja annettujen koordinaattien minuuttien desimaalit siten, että N lisätään leveyspiirin ja E pituuspiirin desimaaleihin.

Given coordinates lead you into light traffic intersection. On the intersection you can find a sign pole containing three signs indicating names and distances to three different locations. Using the first letters of the names of these locations you get two variables called L, M and V. Using the distance to the location you’ll get values to the variables. Use following formula to solve N & E

N = L*L*L/M+2*(L+V)
E = L*(-M)

You can calculate the final coordinates by adding the result of the calculation to the minute’s decimal part of the given coordinates. N to the latitude and E to the longitude.
