Geocache Description:

We are sharing with you our favourite holiday spot which we think is one of Queenslands best kept secrets. As we only holiday here, konie (a local cacher) has kindly offered to manage the cache for us. The co-ords will lead you to a plaque in a small park on the banks of the Mooloolah River which is a popular spot where locals fish and kayak. The cache is a micro containing only a log so you will need to bring your own pen.

The plaque, attached to a rock, was dedicated to the fallen by the Maroochy Shire Council to commemorate VP Day (Victory in the Pacific).

To find the cache, you must first complete a maths test. Find the year the plaque was dedicated, calculate the sum of the numbers of that year and from this deduct 8. Now move that number of meters in a 352 (mag) deg direction and you will find what you are seeking.

The FTF prize could make your day! Discretion may be required at times as muggles may be watching from the local apartment buildings.
