Tube in a Tube Traditional Cache

This one had a good run; thanks to all who have visited. Although we have many problems (statues of Confederate Generals were removed during the night and hate crimes and rallies happening on a daily basis) this is still the grandest country of all. This cache is located in the Salem County War Veterans Memorial Park and Cemetery. We have driven past here many times through the years and have never taken the time to stop until recently. When we did we had a very sobering experience.
Typically while passing by here, all one will see are the well kept lawns, an occasional floral display, and a couple of flags fluttering in the breeze. However, when you stop and actually look around you will see the graves of hundreds upon hundreds of men and women who served our country here. As the markers lie flush with the grass you do not have the visual impact you might otherwise experience with standing headstones.
Here also you will find several monuments with dedications to veterans of all wars. There are plaques to read, benches to sit on, and a couple of artillery pieces to examine. We took the time to read just a few of the names of these heroes listed here.
As to the cache, you are seeking a scuba bison with a log sheet only. There is a Signal FTF pin for the First To Find outside the cache container. Remember to cover this one back up when replacing it. Do not attempt to access this cache from the highway. There is plenty of nearby parking available in the large driveway. As always, please be very respectful of this area.
