Geocache Description:

This is the cemetery where Col. Talbot, founder of the Talbot Settlement, was buried in 1853. Also seen are the names of George Crane, the first settler, and those four families who followed in 1809 and 1810, as well as those of many other courageous pioneers.

This cemetery is an amazing place. Many people here have played important roles in this area. Please take the time to fully appreciate the impact these people have on Elgin County. Many of the families still live in the area. For more information please use these links.
