They say if you can climb Mt Si twice in a day - you can summit Mt
Rainier - so Si becomes quite the popular "training hike". What I
thought would be a good day to go up and try the caches up top
turned out to be a bit different, alas the snow was too deep. So on
the way down I thought I'd leave a bit of MMM treasure for the next
seeker! This is along the Old Big Si Trail - you are looking for a
30 caliber ammo can just a step or two off the trail.
 This is an official
MidMountain Mountaineers cache. We are a loose collection of
hikers/cachers who believe the journey is more important than the
summit. Enjoy our caches about half way up! |
