This traditional cache will lead you to the Island Creek Forest Walk along a paved back country road between Pollocksville and New Bern, NC. Start from the parking area on Island Creek Road. BYOP
There are some beautiful trails in this area - look for this cache when you have time to explore them. They are accessible throughout the year.
NOTE: Part of the challenge for this cache is to locate Island Creek Rd. From the New Bern area, start west from US 70 on Williams Rd. in James City (just south of the Trent River Bridge at New Bern); from Pollocksville, start east from US 17 on Beaufort Rd.
