Geocache Description:

Regular sized lock-n-lock in Cockaponset State Park with a nice view of a stream.

The cache is located off of the orange trail inside Cockaponset State Park. Their are various ways of getting to the cache but i recommend to start at the trail head right next to the Exit 8 ramps of Rt. 9. The trail head is on Beaver Meadow Rd. right past Exit 8 if your heading towards Killingworth and vise versa. From the trail head i recommend taking the orange/white trail which means taking the right-most trail from the entrance and following it to the orange trail which will take you to the cache and back to the trail head. The hike is about a hour and a little less than 2 miles and covers hills, streams, and nice scenery. ***This is the first of a string of caches that are all hidden on this trail.***
