This viewpoint is near the end of the climb up Yudalsan overlooking the port of Mokpo City. The climb is steep, but well maintained with steps and handrails. Use stealth as there are many muggles in the summer.
A 2-kilometer stretch of forsythias surrounds the road from Mt. Yudalsan’s Nojeokbong Peak to Mokpo Marine College. Rising 228 meters above sea level, Mt. Yudalsan offers a spectacular view of Dadohae National Maritime Park from its summit. It has various attractions such as the Sculpture Park that has more than 100 pieces of sculpture on display as well as the Orchid Park.
The Flower Festival, held every year at Mt. Yudalsan in April is a popular attraction.
The cache is placed within easy reach of the trail at Ibseok Rock near the last pavillion overlook. It is a small, long Lock-and-Lock container back under a rock. Please use stealth during the busy season when there are many muggles nearby.
Climb just a little further to the last viewpoint where there are binoculars for viewing. But, don't miss the carved Buddha's on the right side of the trail.
