Cobscar Smelt Mill Traditional Cache

This cache is an easy magnetic nano container.
 

Cobscar Lead Smelt Mill doesn't appear to have been one of the busiest in the dales, but the walk to this cache takes you through an interesting landscape.

Park at the waypoints given, then it is about a ten minute walk to the site along a fairly level tractor track. Take a look at this document, as you will pass it not far from the parking waypoint on your right.

The smelt mill is listed monuments with English Heritage. Rather than describing this site here, I recommend that you read this document.

Just passed the smelt mill is a mine level. If you take a torch you can sit on a hummock at the front of the level and look inside. See the level waypoint.
