Rugby Club Caches - Wandsworthians RFC Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

A series of caches placed around the grounds of rugby clubs.
Caches will all be outside the grounds in the public domain unless otherwise stated and at this time, all bar one give a view of the rugby posts, a requirement for anyone who would like to extend this series.

Wandsworthians RFC was formed in 1929.

The cache is a small container about 5x3x2" and contains a pencil, log book and a number of swaps. GPS coverage was not bad considering the overhead trees, but this may change as they grow and bloom.

If you would like to extend this series, please feel free. There are only 3 rules which must be followed;

1. Every effort must be made to place the cache with a view of the pitch or posts.
2. Every effort must be made NOT to use a micro.
3. I don't need to know the number - there aren't any!
Remember - the refs’ decision is final and arguing will just get you a yellow card.

This is a multi-use sports ground and during the summer months the rugby posts are removed.
