The Alabama Geocachers Association's 2009 Spring Fling will be held at Fort Toulouse-Fort Jackson Historic Site in Wetumpka, AL from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
This event is open to all cachers everywhere. The park is located outside of beautiful Wetumpka, AL. Please note that there is a $2 per person admission charge (for all persons over 5 years old). This will be taken at the event, so do not deposit it at the gate.
The park is a beautiful place with lots of walking trails and historic sites to see. They have a campground with full hookups, so bring your camper and tents. There are a bunch of new caches in the area, so you'll have plenty to keep you busy.
This year we will be having pot luck. So when you log your "Will Attend", please let us know what you expect to bring and how many in your party. We'll have soft drinks and water available.
Of course, there will be a Travel Bug swap table set up. And there will be door prizes.
CookieToo's Cash Caches - One for the adults, five for teens, and five for children. Instructions will be given at the event.
There is a Whereigo cache in the park. We can help anyone that wants to attempt it.
Geo202 will be awarded her gold ammo box for 1000 finds.
xptwo will be awarded their gold ammo box for 2000 finds.
WheresDib will be awarded their gold ammo box for 2000 finds.
So bring something to stock their caches.
