BOSS Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: Hello,

As there's been no response to my earlier note, I am forced to archive this listing.

If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future, just contact me email, including the GC Code, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Thanks,
-OReviewer

Geocache Description:

BOSS: Blowing off some steam

The Limerick Generating Station is located next to the Schuylkill River in Limerick Township. This facility has two General Electric boiling water reactor (BWR) units, cooled by natural draft cooling towers which can be seen quite clearly from the cache location (bring a camera). When conditions are right, these cooling towers emit enough water vapor to be seen for distances of over 50 miles; they are certainly blowing off some steam.
Since you are looking for the kind of container that makes sense to place on this structure, you know to bring a pen/pencil. There is parking for one vehicle at the parking coords given. There is a paved walkway for part of the way from car to cache. Please be careful walking on the unpaved stretch, especially during rush hours as traffic seems to exceed legal limits. Because of these conditions, cachers using bikes, strollers, wheelchairs, or walking dogs should take extreme care.

CONGRATULATIONS to koikeeper for the FTF!!
