Easy walk, might have to walk in some burrs. Dang I don't like
these West Texas Burrs either.
I tried looking up the history of this old school but I had no
success other than the following.....
The Loraine, ISD (Fghting Bulldog's) mentions this school located
in court records found in the Mitchell County Commissioner's Court
Records from Feb 15th 1908 LINK .
There are references to Roger's School on the linked web page in
paragraphs 8, 10 and 11.
There are also some references (no history) about Roger's School on
the Texas
Landmarks - Mitchell, TX This reference can be found about
2/3rds of the way down the web page.
