Geocache Description:

Just a little cache, in place where many once came to be educated.

Monterey Academy was built in 1890, and for 71 years stood tall and proud, educating our young people from grades one through eight. On this spot now stands a monument to those who taught, as well as those who came here to learn.


Please park at the clubhouse, and walk to GZ. We think this should be wheelchair accessible, but if it is not, please let us know, and we will change the attributes.
