Geocache Description:

This is a four part multi-cache. The first two stages require you to do some calculations with numbers pulled from man-made objects. The third stage is a micro and the final is a 2 litre camo container. Easy bushwaking required to get from 3rd waypoint to final.
The total distance of the hike is approximately 3 kilometers.

Rotary Park, Ajax is a busy area with kids playing in the playground or using the splash pad in the summer, people picnicking and playing sports, and just hanging out, enjoying the lake views. But cross the bridge and leave the waterfront trail to go beyond the pioneer cemetery and you enter a different world. Welcome to the wild side! This side features wild meadows, forest, and marshes. It is inhabited by deer and coyotes, foxes and beaver, wild fowl and birds.

At waypoint #1, find the year the summer resort opened.
The fourth digit = A (for example if the number was 1796, the fourth digit is 6)
Subtract the first digit from the third digit = B
Add the third and fourth digits = C

Also find the year the sailors bodies washed ashore. Add up the digits and add 1. This equals EE.
Divide EE by 7 to get D.

The second waypoint is: N 43 49.ABC W 079 02. DEE

At the second waypoint, note the six numbers on the yellow sign affixed to the post.
Add the first 2 digits = A
The fourth digit = B
Add the 4th and 5th digits = C
The 3rd digit = D
The 3rd digit – the 2nd digit = E

The third waypoint is N 43 49.ABC W 079 02.DBE

To get to the third waypoint, follow the trail that leads off into the forest from the numbered post.

The third waypoint is about the size of a key hider.

For maximum wildlife viewing, please visit around dawn and dusk. Please post pictures! And remember please never, ever, feed the wildlife and that includes the birds.

Congratulations to Entogeek for another awe-inspiring FTF - what commitment to the sport!
