Oops, we meant Scary "Underpass", not Scary "Underpants"! Go through the tunnel to find the cache. Only visit during daylight hours. Don't bring the kids. Bring your own writing stick. Hidden DNA tube.
The scary pedestrian tunnel takes you over the highway and across the train tracks - pretty cool engineering. If you did go through the tunnel and cross over the highway you'd have a great view from up top. You could then continue onto the narrow sidewalk
south. It leads to a Blue Star Memorial Highway marker, then on up to the Willamette Falls overlook where there is a statue of the "Father of Oregon,", Dr. John McLoughlin. The walk on the sidewalk is scary too, especially if a train comes because the tracks are quite close and you're stuck on a narrow sidewalk between the train and the highway.
