Geocache Description:

A 35m Film Canister, magnetic. A cache and dash can be done by commuters. Part of the Side Tracked series. The cache is not on railway property.

A small level crossing, one stop before Greenhithe station.
Stone Crossing Halt was opened on 2nd November 1908. The current clapboard signal box is thought to date from the stations opening.
The Halt was rebuilt in prefabricated concrete in about 1954.

The cache contains a log sheet and pencil. Also. a Sayer Voyager's Compass Rose token for the First to Find.
