Geocache Description:

A Quick Multi on a River Trail.

The Cedar River Trail is 17-mile trail a trail the follows the Cedar River from where the river dumps into Lake Washington in Renton all the way up river eastwards towards Landsburg. During the fall months, this river is full of sockeye salmon trying to make their way up river to spawn. Its quite a sight to see the countless orange-red fish bodies trying to make their way up river. It is something to see.

Your journey begins at the posted coordinates which is the parking lot for the Riverview Park. From the parking lot, head for the bridge that takes you over the river to the park itself. About mid way across the bridge, facing down river (towards 405), you will find an informative sign. From this sign, you will obtain the information you need to locate the cache. Answer the following questions:

The second digit in the largest length of sockeye laying up to 1700 orange-red eggs = ____ A

The first digit of the four-digit decade that the sockeye were introduced to the river below you = ____B

The longest period of time it takes for the eggs to hatch -1= ____ C

The number of letters in the color of the sockeye’s head +1 = ____ D

The first digit of the number of eggs larger female sockeye can lay= ____ E

The first digit of the percent having spent one year in fresh water and two in ocean? -4 = ____ F

Now finish the following coordinates:

N47 28. ABC W122 10.DEF

The terrain rating is for the last 8 - 10 feet of your journey. I would not recommend for kids because of this. This is not a night cache as the gate to the bridge will be closed at night. You will not have access to the bridge from the parking lot side at night, If you are a resourceful cacher (I know there are some of you out there that fits this description) you will find an alternative way to get into the park and gain access to the sign with the info you need.

Happy Fishing!

CONGRATS TO METZRUS4 FOR THE FTF!!!!

4/15/09 - Given so many DNFs on this, I have changed the hint to be a bit more descriptive. My intentions was not to make this an evil cache but it sure has turned out that way. Try looking for this one again. Check the hints/spoiler.

Good luck!
