Geocache Description:

The cache is located it the Ortonville State Recreation Area. This is the 9th cache in the "Deep Woods Series".

This one should be called "Deep Woods Extreme".

If you love the northern Michigan woods, then you will love this cache hide location.

This cache is deep in the woods and the biggest challenge is hiking to it...."Big Time".

There are trails through out the area and all you have to do is find the right one. Although getting to the cache will be cross country.

Ortonville Recreation Area is a beautiful area for hiking, biking, cross country skiing, horse back riding or just enjoying nature.

Now geocaching too.

State Park Vehicle Permit is required.

The cache is a 4x6 Lock & Lock container. The starting cache is a mix of all kinds of things plus a Pathtag. The "FTF" prize is a Labrador Army Knife.

NOTE...I try to make my hides unique and interesting, so please hide the cache back as found.
