Yet another micro near a major highway... or a warmup for the rest of the caches on Tuxachanie Trail? Your choice!
It's just another darned micro to log as you pass by on Hwy 49. Or is it? It's not far in on the Tuxachanie Trail, less than 100 yards from the parking lot, but it's far enough off-trail that you won't have to be too stealthy, even on a hiker-busy Saturday afternoon. It's certainly far enough off the trail that you'll need more than dress shoes! It's just sort of hanging there in plain sight, but it's not likely to be found by non-cachers. It's just... there on the way to Tuxachanie #1, or maybe it's there to give you the coords to tell you how much farther it is to the Hwy 49 trailhead as you hike from Airey Lake. Whatever it is, it's in the woods now!
