Geocache Description:

Separation Anxiety

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

This cache is part of my discover Farmington series. I do not measure value in this life by the work I do, the money I make, the things I have. I measure it by how many moments I spend taking in the beauty around me. That is why I love Farmington. It is so beautiful. I can see the mountains basking in the sun from my front porch, and watch the sun reflect over the Great Salt Lake as it goes down from my back patio. It is such a beautiful city. From the mountain terrain to the rural area and wetlands married together with a quaint historical downtown. I love it here. And I want to share the beauty of this community with everyone who wishes to visit.

To get to this cache, drive east on State Street through historic Farmington. The road will curve and head south. Turn left just before the cemetary on 500 South. The road will curve and turn to a road base, this is Little Mountain Road, although there is no sign giving this name. The trailhead is near UtahJean's Farmington Sunset Rock, just after the dip in the road. I won't lie, this is a pretty tough trail, especially in early spring when the snow is melting. But hey, my six year old made it with me, and I'm not in great shape. So if we can make it, you can too.

Give yourself some time up here. The cache is great and stocked with good swag for everybody, but it's placed here for many reasons and wanted to share them all with you. So make sure you look around and take in the beauty that surrounds you while you visit here.

Come prepared, wear your hiking boots and bring some water. A walking stick is suggested, but you'll find many at the trailhead if you need one. There was still snow covering part of the trail, and it was very muddy when I placed this cache. So take your time and be careful.
