A Cache along the Grand Union Canal which runs alongside the outer perimeter of Watermead Park Leicester.
For a longer walk suggested Parking is the Mill Lane Car Park off Melton Road within Thurmaston Village, This is the Southern Car park and is a free car park into this site.
Turning is next to red post box within Thurmaston, along a narrow lane to permitted car park. There are no facilities except dog poo bins at this car park.
A nearer (free) parking place could be Wanlip Road, on the verges if you are creative, but there are many yellow lines here thanks to the Council.
The official Car Park for this end of the Water-park is £1.50, and there are Toilets here.
The Hope and Anchor Pub is also located on Wanlip Road.
A short walk to find a Round 350ml Lock 'n' lock container.
There are several official exits/entrances to the park and canal path along this walk, dont go hedge hopping.!
Located where many Snails appear to rest.
Please re-hide cache well with local materials, this is a 'very' busy and popular area in particular in nice weather.
