Geocache Description:

Nice flat trail and wooden boardwalk in the John Chestnut Sr. Park. Permission to placed cache was granted by Rangers Don Wilson and Steve Gaber.

The park is a great place to see lots of wildlife. Nearly every time we have been there we have spotted a few deer. Some even walked through a game of croquette we were playing. But the main thing to watch out for are psycho squirrels.
They will stalk you down the trail. We get a kick out of watching them sneak up on the boardwalks. The cache is small test tube containing: “I Love You” button, Louisiana college paperclip, and globe key chain, plus a log and pencil. Enjoy the walk….but watch out for furry four legged stalkers CURRTENTLY I AM UNABLE TO REPLACE THE CACHE. IF SOMEONE IS WILLING TO DO THID FOR ME I WOULD BE VERY GRATFUL. PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU ARE WILLING TO DO SO. IT IS A GREAT LOCATION AND I WOULD HATE TO LOSS THE CHANCE FOR OTHERS TO VISIT. THANK YOU.
