Geocache Description:

We discovered this lovely location pre-geocaching when we were taking part in the Dorset Dirt (a 50km off-road bike ride) see the web site www.dorsetdirt.co.uk for more details.

Nearing the end of the ride we happened across this spot. When we discovered Geocaching we immediately thought of it for a lovely cache location.

This is a one stage multi-cache. We recommend parking at the bridleway at Higher City Farm (N50 48.030 W002 30.166) from there it a 1.7 mile walk to the cache which we estimate will take you 30-40 minutes to what we think is a fantastic spot for a picnic. Why birthday picnic??? Well, Mr kcvR had a birthday picnic here on 23rd of March….and this year we were blessed with fantastic weather. From the picnic spot take in what you see to gain the answers below and then proceed to the co-ordinates where you should discover an ammo box.

You can perhaps combine this with the Cerne Sculptures Cache.

There is a FTF prize of a Ladybird Travel bug companion, and the ammo box contains Log book and pencil and various swaps.

How many Lily pads are there? = A

How many Horses on the Sign = B

The number of the common month for Amanda = C

What number month was Harriet born = D

Enjoy your picnic, work out the answers and wander to the cache at:-

N50 46 C (A-1) D
W002 29 (B-2) 1 C

23-10-15
The cache is now located about 10ft west of hint item.
