In May of 2000, the United States government officially removed
“selective availability” to the Global Positioning System
satellites. This meant that civilian GPS units now possessed
greater accuracy than they previously were allowed to have.
Shortly after that, the American Hamster Council (AHC) announced
an overstock of hamsters and the rampant problem of
hamster-homelessness . Shortly after, some guy in Pennsylvania
headed out in to the woods with a pocket full of hamsters, some
Tupperware and a can of Vienna sausages. The rest is
history..except for the Vienna sausages...
This new hamstercache, the first in the area, is a regular sized
camo'd lock-n-lock that contains log book, pencils, trading items,
and one small hamster. Please be kind as this cache is his
home.
