Geocache Description:

June 10/11:
Cache is now a tube cache and contains only a log book and is fastened to it's location.

This was the old highway that followed the lake shore west up the hill to a popular dance hall. Now it makes for a pleasant stroll if the kids (or the dog) have been cooped up in the car too long.
Balsam Lake is a bit marshy here so the birds like it too.
Very short walk from pull-off.

June 10, 2011: Replaced the cache after yesterday's wind storm.

July 27, 2012: Replaced the missing cache with a tube containing new log sheets only.
