Tenorplayer's 12th
Welcome to the VERY first De Kalb County CITO. This CITO will take
place at Ocker Park in Garrett, Indiana. This Cache In Trash Out
event is brought to you by Tenorplayer of Garrett.
WE WOULD LIKE TO
THANK MAYOR DAVID "FROG" WIANT OF GARRETT FOR HELPING BRING THE
VERY FIRST CITO TO DE KALB
COUNTY!
Just so you have a little history on it, this is Garrett's most
remote, rural park. It is, in the words of the Mayor, the
"designated dog park" - as many of the other parks in town do not
allow dogs.
There is a stocked lake there that was the result of excavation of
land to build the railroad overpass nearby.
Because of its rural location, this is the most difficult park to
monitor and keep from being vandalized. Mayor Wiant said it is a
beautiful location, and again, expressed his gratitude for our
coming out and cleaning it up!
There will be donation boxes held for the Garrett animal shelter
& St. Martian's soup kitchen, so bring dog/cat food, and/or a
non perishable food idem for the soup kitchen.

People who bring donations might get a new Tenorplayer Pathtag
This event will start at 10:00a.m, so we can get a lot of work
done, with lunch afterward
