A cache hidden on the upper portion of the Sycamore Canyon Trail.
This is a cache that "replaces" my archived "Fool On The Hill" cache. Same trail, different spot. There is no room for a pen so please bring your own.
I love bringing my dog up here for a walk. I like the view and enjoy the benches beneath the shade trees.
There are two ways to get here. The place to park with the easiest hike to the cache is at the trailhead at:
N 34° 00.338
W 117° 48.543
From here it's about 1/4 mile.
For a longer, more scenic (and more strenuous) hike you can park at Sycamore Canyon Park and take the trailhead at:
N 34° 00.469
W 117° 48.772
Trivia:
I've been naming my latest caches with the names of musical pieces. This name comes from the soundtrack to "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Elmer Bernstein.
