Cache is located in beautiful Lakeside Cemetery in Port Huron. Will be much easier for cachers that know us.
The SQ in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This is a good distinction to put on this type of cache and is a good idea to be used here in Michigan. Please be respectful of the area, and observe their rules and posted hours, Michigan law states that you are only permitted to visit cemeteries dawn to dusk through out the state unless other hours are posted
Near the starting point is a memorial to the many brave soldiers who served at the former Fort Gratiot in the 1800s.They were wiped out by a cholera epidemic.
Bob's grandfather had 3 sons. One moved to Port Huron from Petoskey, Michigan and became a dectective on the Port Huron Police Department. Everyone called him Jake. Jake died relatively young. I never met him. Jake was not his given name.
To find the cache you must locate Jake's tombstone.

Jakes DOB minus 1473 will give you a 3 digit number which is twice the last three digits of the longitude.
