Geocache Description:

Were you planning on travelling eastbound on Route 2? Perhaps you were planning to go nowhere? Continue onto the path.

Do not access cache from Route 2. There is a great spot for parking and easy access on Camp Moween Road. Park at coordinates: N41 33.960 W072 13.889.

This geocache is established to honor Treasure Island, CA. This was a former Naval installation. I left a Navy geocoin as a reward for the FTF. This Navy geocoin is a tribute to those who lived on Treasure Island as a military brat. The primary mission is to travel to or near Naval installations and return to Southeastern Connecticut gathering photos along the journey (especially related to the Navy). Anchors Away!
