This is the old You Can’t Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd cache, but it is now a regular cache instead of a multi cache. Gene used to graze his herd for about a mile down the road, but the beautiful valley is soon to be sub-divided. This is forcing him to down-size his herd, due to the lack of grazing lands now available. The reason it was a multi cache before was so that you would be able to see the buffalo no matter where he had them grazing. Now that the herd is no longer down the valley, the skates have been retired and just the final is left. I hope you enjoy seeing the buffalo here. The babies should be arriving in April.
