The Quail
The Quail Track connects the the Bellbird
track and the Railway Embankment track, it provides an alternative
route back to the carpark, but the not going to help you because
you have to go down so far to the cache, then double back to the
Bellbird track, to get the rest.

The cache is a 550ml
snaplock container it has log book pen and a few
swap.
And of course the
number.
Take note of the number in the log book,
this is one of 5 cache's in the area, each has a
number in the log book,that will help you the find
the Waimate Bonus Cache. if doing all the cache the best way is to
start with the Railway Embankment, then The Water Fall, then The
Quail it's the only Double-Back you have to do of about
200m, then the Bellbird then the Ngaio, and then
if you have all the number's go and find the Waimate
Bonus Cache.
The whole track took me 4.5 hours including
setting out the caches, if you follow the order above then it's a
big loop.
