Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the above coordinates

For their first flight Stonefly Aviation decided to hire an experienced pilot trained at Nav Canada. This pilot has almost reached the magic number of 500 flights ….and everyone calls him by his nickname:” Navi-Gatr”!

The airplane was a new challenge for him since it was a new aerodynamic concept with no roof or air deflector.

Furthermore, the location of the small business airport had something curious about it. According to the owner , the rumour was that this particular place has been suspected to be a former UFO landing strip. Even the oval shape remains on the grass after all these years.

After take off, a problem arose. Birds hit the bimotor aircraft, but Navi-Gatr remained calm and started the emergency landing procedure.

Aiming at the only option in sight , Anse-à-l’Orme river, things unfortunately turned bad, communication with air traffic control failed.

Searching for the debris, a rescuer found a tape recording but it was barely intelligible.

Do you think you can help Navi-Gatr?
