Sandåsen er en liten odde som ligger ved gamle
innfartsveien inn imot Kragerø. Her vil dere finne Slippen
Marina som har sine røtter langt tilbake. Denne veien fikk
avlastning på slutten av 80 tallet når jernbanen blei
lagt ned og hovedveien blei lagt imellom tunnelen hvor hovedveien
går idag.
Ellers kan dere finne endel gamle hus her hvor noen er bygd
nesten i fjellsiden. På sommerene når det er
utfartshelger så blir ferje køen losa rundt på
denne veien. Av erfaring så har det blitt kaos i
rundkjøringa ved brannstasjon før de startet med
denne praksisen.

Sandåsenl is a small promontory which is located at the old
approach road towards the Kragerø. Here you will find
slippen Marina that has its roots far back. This road was relief in
the late 80's when the railway was closed down and the road was
laid between the tunnel where the road goes today.
Otherwise, you can find some old buildings here where some are
built almost on the mountainside. In summers when there is a
recreation weekends so the ferry queue Losa around on this road.
From experience it has been chaos in the roundabouts at the fire
station before they started with this practice.
