Another Long Path trail cache, Park off Cox Rd and walk up the driveway of house number 246 and continue straight on an old mountain road. This is the published long path access route and is marked on several maps. I have even spoken to property owner to verify that this is the correct approach. This cache can be reached in 3/4 of a mile.
As I hiked along this old mountain road, this cache's nearby access route, I realized that perhaps this will be the least found cache in the area.
I couldn't help but place a cache to make sure that the whole trail was used. Simply walking a trail is the best way to keep it maintained. Since my placement of Feeling Lymey, a trail maintainer has come through and added more blue trail blazes. It is a beautiful section of the long path with awesome views and great rock formations. I can't imagine why it's not a more popular trail.
I have left an un-activated coin for the first to find. COME 'N GET IT!
