Located a few steps above the Bonneville Shoreline trail where wild creatures have been seen to wander.
A slightly camoed plastic food storage container (without food, of course) today containing a blank log book and sharp pencils, as well as a sharpener and a few fun goodies. There is a travel bug in there at the time of placement.
Watch your footing, don't let your attention wander to the scenery, and don't step on the vegetation ... or any deer carcasses. And be sure to bring along some turkey repellant.
Seekers' comments led me to revisit this site on perfectly clear and sunny day. Indeed, the above coords take you to a spot just up the hill from your goal, but that's a good place from which to approach it. However I must add an exclamation point to the "Congrats!" to Bogey for his FTF.
