Troedrhiw'rychen Traditional Cache

This cache is placed in the ruins of an old house beside a right of way. The Cynnant Valley is a hidden valley, You have to climb out of it and then back into it to go along it. Eventually, the right of way along the valley goes all the way to Llanwrtyd Wells. It is remote without being far away. I am often up the valley all day and don't see anybody else.
Access to cache? Well, the formal approved (by me) route is to park at the Fwng Isaf Forestry Commission park (Waypoint 1) and walk ( either on the road up a very steep climb or along a footpath along a steep bank). Doing it this way will take an hour and you may consider the terrain rating to be too low. However it is possible to park close to the beginning of the track (waypoint 2) but you will then either have to reverse out or carry on long the lane to the turning area at waypoint 3. If you have a four wheel drive, this is definitely a cache and dash but you still have to turn round, either at waypoint 3 before the cache or at the concrete rings 300 metres beyond the cache. Do not turn round elsewhere, you will probably get stuck and will not get out. I'm not saying you can't drive right up to the cache in a car, I'm just not recommending it. If you are approaching on a mountain bike or on foot, of course, all the above is totally irrelevant!
The cache is a small clip-lock tupperware.
