Geocache Description:


One geocacher has observed that 'there is a large tree that is titled sideways hanging about 20 feet right above the cache. It is only being supported by a slim branch from another tree. If it falls it will come down right on the cache. This is a potential hazard for people'.

As a result of this I revisited the cache to check the 'tilted tree'. As I suspected, it is firmly wedged in a fork between two other living trees and is not 'only being supported by a slim branch from another tree' as suggested. However I recommend that anyone looking for this cache appraises the situation for themselves and doesn't go there during high winds.
