Geocache Description:

This is Ziggy Crews 63rd cache hidden.

A 4 Wheel Drive Is Strongly Suggested In Helping You Locate This Cache!

Do Not Attempt With A 2 Wheel Drive! You will Not Make It!!!

This cache is located just off Basily Rd deep in the Catskill Mountains. It is a lock and lock container hidden in usual fashion and not a hard find. Just getting there is the hard part. This cache was placed as for you to be able to use your 4x4 to get to it. This road is a seasonal limited access road and is a public right of way. It is a single lane and quite rough. It is maintained regularly and when the trees do fall across, someone comes and cuts them up and out of the way. The road does pass through private property at times and please do respect the posted signs and stay on the road. the cache is hidden on state forest land and not on private property. It contains the usual log book and trinkets.

A 4x4 isn't required to find this cache, there is parking at either end of the road and you can take the long hike UP!

The more fun way to the cache is by going in from Flugertown Rd. Its longer but you have to drive through the Willowemok Creek. As the bridge is out and the signs direct you to do so. So have fun with this.

I would not recommend searching for this cache from October to December during hunting season, as there are a lot of hunting camps all throughout the state forest.
