Located in St. John's Cemetry, deeded in 1861. The first interment was Conrad Lange in 1872, when the cemetery was referred to as St. Johannes. Mr. Lange was 57 upon his death.
After retrieving and replacing the cache, take a look around and you will see one of the best panoramic views in the region. If not for this cemetery, one of the wind turbines that are in the area would surely be here.
To the east is the Milwaukee Lobe of the Kettle Moraine and to the southeast, you can see Dundee Mountain.
And to the north is the area referred to as "the Holyland", with many Catholic churches on the hilltops. To the northwest and west are the many wind turbines that have sprouted in the last year.
The container is not on any markers. If a service is in progress, or family members are visiting, please return at a later time. Parking is roadside.
Congrats to kmsnoop on FTF!
