County Bicycle Trail
WARNING You Can Not Get To This Cache From The Saw
Mill Parkway
Your best bet is to park at the parking coordinates. You will have
to walk about a 1/2 mile on the paved bicycle/walking
trail.
This cache is located
on the south county bicycle trail.
There is a log only
please bring a pen/pencil.
The trail was the former home of the Putnam Division of the New
York Central Railroad. The “Old Put,” The last
passenger train run was on May 29, 1958
There is a information plaque on the trail close to where the cache
is hidden that tells you all about “The Old Put”
