"Here we go again"
We will be gathering at Mercer
County Park West Windsor, New Jersey
A "Flash Mob"
Gathering of Geocachers. Only 15 minutes long! You
MUST be present and sign a log sheet DURING this time to claim the
event.
Have you heard of MEGA-EVENTS? This is quite the
opposite in a variety of ways.
A FLASH MOB is a large group of people who
assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for
a
brief period of time, then quickly disperse. Leaving people to
wonder “What just happened?”
FLASH MOBS have gathered for other reasons but
our reason is very specific.
Come be part of this historic event!
WWFM (World Wide Flash Mob
Event):
- Dozens of events all around the
world
- Thousands of geocachers
participating
- Coordinated to happen at the same
time
- To bring together geocachers for a fun and
unique event all around the world, at the exact same point in time
in time.
- To introduce others (muggles) to the fun of
geocaching
These events will last EXACTLY 15 minutes, not one second
longer.
If any muggles are curious about the event we will have a
volunteer
handing out fliers that explain what geocaching is all about.
Tell your friends and help promote the event!
There may be several muggles nearby who will wonder "What did
I
just see? What just happened?" (That's part of the fun!)
** THE PLAN **
We said we are calling all HAT'S. Yes? Your
mission.. bring and proudly wear a hat that you would not
ordinarily wear in public... JUST KEEP IT "G" RATED, this is a
family event after all. So break out the big, the odd, the ugly,
the bizarre and wear it proud!.
Timeline:
13:00 Geocachers gather at the park at the given
coordinates.
13:01 Locate the Log Sheet Keeper and get your log sheet and
sign it !!!
13:06 Where‘s Da Food? Find the snack bag and eat it up!

Let's get together and smile BIG for the PHOTO !
13:12 Time for the raffle, Hmmmm, what do we have here?
13:14 Wow, where did the time go? ONE MINUTE LEFT, CITO THE
AREA
12:15 Leave the area like nothing
happened.
After the Flash Mob Event and WEATHER
PERMITTING, We are planning a Pot Luck Picnic. So stay
around and enjoy the park and make sure to bring your walking boots
to grab all of the caches in the park. If you would like to join us
for the picnic just post in your log what you would like to bring.
Everyone please bring your own non-alcoholic
beverages.
