Echota Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The cache is hidden in the first public access area on the Illinois River. There are a few places to camp (primitive), port-a- johns and a boat ramp. Many people stop here to view the river or fish so beware of the muggles.
The name of the cache, Echota, is a Cherokee word meaning shelter or a place of refuge.
The container is completely hidden from site. It only has room for small items and the log so don't forget your writing tool. Please leave the cache as you find it cover but not obvious.
